The April 2020 Patch Tuesday updates from Microsoft have arrived. Microsoft released fixes for 113 CVE-numbered security vulnerabilities, 19 of which are classified as critical vulnerabilities.

This month’s updates include three zero-day vulnerabilities and two public disclosures.

All three 0-Day vulnerabilities exist on Windows 7, Server 2008 (R2) versions, so if you are still running on those deprecated OS versions you are at increased risk.

With most Knowledge Workers working from home, IT professionals are facing challenging times installing the updates released in the Patch Tuesday of April 2020.

Because of the expanding demand for VPNs and tools that allow communication and collaboration, a lot of vulnerabilities have surfaced.
