Microsoft patches have been applied!

A new Zero-Day exploit…..

For most readers, you will say, “What does this mean?”

In Short, a Zero-Day (exploit) is a previously undisclosed entry point into your PC/Mac/Network/Cloud etc. It is called a Zero-Day to alert everyone that it is being used in the wild (on real systems) but was not disclosed to the world before today.

Microsoft released their March 2021 Patch Tuesday software updates to address 82 security flaws within Windows and other products, including a patch for an actively exploited Internet Explorer zero-day.

In regard to Internet Explorer or Internet Explorer 11, you should stop using it. We advise a switch to Edge or Chrome. Internet Explorer 11 is not supported anymore, but fixes to Zero-Day exploits are. However, someone has to install them – that is where Thomas Guard handles it, worry-free.
